Getting Started
When you first join BBQ It, you have a Basic Grill (2 slots) and a Wooden Table (1 customer). Your goal is to cook meat and sell it for cash, then reinvest in better equipment.

First Steps
- Buy raw meat from the shop. Start with Hot Dogs (cheap and fast).
- Place meat on grill by clicking/tapping the grill with meat in hand.
- Wait for the cook timer. Watch for the golden color change.
- Remove at the right time. Too early = raw, just right = cooked/perfect, too late = burnt.
- Serve to customers at your table for cash.
- Repeat and save up for your first upgrades.
Early Game Tips
1. Practice timing with Hot Dogs
Hot Dogs cook fast (8 seconds) and cost almost nothing. Use them to learn the perfect cook timing before moving to expensive meats.
2. Save for a Standard Grill first
An extra grill slot means more meat cooking at once. At 500 cash, the Standard Grill pays for itself quickly.
3. Always aim for perfect cooks
Perfect cooks sell for roughly double the normal value. The timing takes practice but the profit difference is massive over time.
4. Don't burn meat
Burnt meat sells for less than the raw cost. If you're unsure about timing, remove the meat early (raw) rather than letting it burn.
